  • Develops, integrates and documents structural requirements to establish the system design
  • Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
  • Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
  • Develops test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
  • Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
  • Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
  • Works under general direction.This role requires being involved in the integration of new and existing weapons onto the F-15 and F/A-18 Platforms, both for the United States and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Customers (Indonesia, Israel, Korea, Poland, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore). - Applicants must be comfortable performing this work scope as described.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Experienced and Lead Strength Analysis EngineersThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. - The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
    • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, environmental science, chemistry, geology, physics, computer science or mathematics
    • 3+ years of experience using NASTRAN/PATRAN or similar FEM software to perform structural analysis on aircraft or space structures
    • Proficient in the use of technology, including Apple and Microsoft Devices and Software (i.e. Excel, Office, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
    • 3+ years of experience in gathering and analyzing data as well as putting the information in a presentation or report for others to review
    • 3+ year of experience working with internal and external customers and suppliersPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
      • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Knowledge and experience with fixed wing military aircraft platforms
      • Experience with structural analysis software such as Abacus and StressCheck
      • Ability to understand and write engineering reports based on analysis results, test findings, and maintenance reports
      • Ability to provide training/mentoring to early career engineers
      • Experience working in a diverse Integrated Product Team (IPT)
      • Strong oral and written communications skillsTypical Education/Experience: -Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABETaccreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
