Location: Saint Louis, MissouriJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $43.00 - 48.07 per hourWe are seeking a detail-oriented individual to Proofread consumer-targeted communication materials. Strong grammar skills, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail are essential. A positive, can-do attitude is key to succeeding in this critical support role within a fast-paced agency environment.Responsibilities:Proofread all content developed by the production and digital design teams to ensure.Accuracy against original, approved copy.Correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.Consistency in typographic style.Proper type size and specifications.Correct placement of copy in layouts.Proper trademark usage.Accuracy of coupon codes, expiration dates, ingredient lists, and legal disclosures.Compliance with current Federal Trade Commission (FTC) packaging requirements.Ensure all documents adhere to current industry and legal standards.Communicate effectively and use sound judgment when collaborating with internal creative teams (copywriters, art directors, designers, account managers) and client stakeholders (Legal, Regulatory, Project Management, Marketing). Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree required; English major preferred.Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in proofreading, copywriting, or editing; agency experience strongly preferred.
