Job Description Job Description MB Heating & Cooling is currently hiring for a full-time Experienced Electrician / Electrical Technician to connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, generators, and other components, as well as install solar panels and residential wind turbines in the Springfield, IL area. This position plans layouts and installations by reading blueprints and completing panel changes. We pay our Experienced Electricians / Electrical Technicians a competitive wage of up to $30/hour , depending on experience. REQUIREMENTS 3 years of experience as an electrical technician Springfield electrician license OR will obtain license within 1 year of hire Ability to read blueprints and complete panel changes Physical ability to stand, kneel, crouch, work in the attic, and climb a ladder Physical ability to work in an environment that is a high risk of electrical shock, extreme weather conditions, and excessive precarious conditions Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to work overtime as needed Previously completing trade school is preferred, but not required.
