Job Description Job Description United Community Bancorp, Inc.,
is in search of a Loan Assistant. The loan assistant will provide
administrative support to the loan officers and assist with
managing loan applications and ensuring compliance with lending
regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All assigned
general clerical duties for the designated loan officer, including
but not limited to sending past due notices, past due letters,
title ticklers, preparing loan files and general correspondence
Maintain familiarity with the Bank Secrecy Act Policy, OFAC Policy,
Loan Policy, CIP Policy and any other policies relevant to this
position Processing real estate loans in accordance and within
guidelines and regulatory standards Process Consumer and Commercial
loans Prepare documents on loan software (currently LaserPro for
Commercial and Encompass for Mortgage) Take loan applications when
the loan officer is unavailable Close real estate loans when the
loan officer is unavailable Cross sell bank products Answer
customer questions and inquiries Prepare set up sheets, order all
documents needed for closing Daily updates on files in process when
changes occur Prepare title applications and checks if necessary
Disburse loan files to loan servicing the same day if possible
Verify full coverage insurance on all loans Handle renewals per
loan officer instructions Correct any loan exceptions Run credit
bureaus Telephone assistance Other related duties as assigned

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point)
Education/Experience Requirements: High school degree or equivalent
Additional Requirements: Previous customer service skills preferred

confidential information in a professional manner Ability to
perform duties independently with limited direct supervision
Problem Solving/Analysis skills Ability to communicate effectively

procedures and how they apply to other areas of the bank Attendance
Requirements: Employees are expected to report to work as
scheduled, on time and prepared to start work. Employees are
expected to remain at work for their entire work schedule. Late
arrival, early departure or other absences from scheduled hours
should be avoided. Certificates, licenses, or registrations: NMLS
certification once employed Working Conditions: This job operates
in a retail banking setting. This role routinely uses standard
office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing
cabinets and fax machines. Physical requirements: Requires bending,
stooping or standing as necessary Requires the ability to hear,
speak and/or signal people Effectively communicate verbally, in
writing, and in English Requires manual dexterity, typing, and the
ability to count money and key in transactions The employee may
