PAYROLL STATUS: Exempt DIRECT REPORTS: N/A REPORTS TO: Director,
Credit SUMMARY: The Credit Analyst supports the Director of Credit
in overseeing all credit and collections
activities.Thispositionisresponsibleforevaluatingcustomercreditworthiness,managing
accounts receivable performance, and ensuring adherence to company
credit policies.
TheCreditAnalystplaysakeyroleinbalancingriskmanagementwithsalesgrowth
- ensuring the company extends credit responsibly, collects
receivables efficiently, and maintains positive relationships with
customers and internal departments. This is a hybrid position.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Credit Risk and Management Review
and approve customer credit applications within delegated
authority. Analyze customer financial statements, trade references,
and payment history to assess credit risk. Recommend credit limits,
terms, or security instruments (such as deposits, guarantees, or
letters of credit) for higher-risk accounts. Monitor open orders
and exposure for designated accounts. Accounts Receivable Oversight
Review daily credit and collections activities to achieve DSO and
cash flow goals. Monitor aging reports and coordinate collection
strategies for delinquent accounts. Approve credit holds & account
releases. Collaborate with Sales to resolve billing or payment
discrepancies. Support month-end closing, reporting, and
reconciliation processes. Ensure consistent application of credit
and collection procedures across all accounts. Recommend process
improvements and automation opportunities within credit operations.
Reporting & Communication Prepare and present regular reports on
A/R aging, delinquency, and credit exposure. Assist the Credit
Manager in developing departmental KPIs and action plans. Serve as
acting Credit Manager in their absence. REQUIREMENTS: Strong
knowledge of commercial credit principles, Excel and lien/bond
ability to articulate in a manner that is thoughtful but Analytical
ability to interpret financial statements and credit Solid
understanding of manufacturing billing cycles and order-to-cash
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance,
Accounting, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 2-3 years of progressive credit and collections
experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial
environment. Thorough understanding of Credit Insurance
Certifications: NACM certification (CBA, CBF) preferred but not
