Hybrid role - In office 3 days a week The Tax Accountant reports to
the Global Tax Leader and is primarily responsible for working with
the corporate functions to complete tax reporting and optimize the
company’s tax position. This position will provide US and
international tax analysis; support project management; and work
with the Global Tax Leader to prepare tax compliance, tax
accounting, and transfer pricing analysis; foreign tax credit
calculation; internal reorganizations; identify permanent
establishment risk and similar initiatives. Job functions and
responsibilities Stay current regarding U.S. tax law changes and
help analyze impact of new US tax laws Implement and support the
design of tax saving strategies Support local tax reporting and
local country tax audits (annual, quarterly, local book, VAT, etc.)
Work with non-US controllership in the regions/local countries
Expand knowledge of tax laws in local countries Support
implementation of changes to corporate structure to optimize tax
obligations legally and ethically Work with the Global Tax Leader
with designing, coordinating and implementing planning
opportunities, reorganizations, acquisitions, divestitures, etc.,
leveraging internal and external resources Support functional and
operating unit leaders to understand and improve tax results on a
sustainable basis Provide appropriate financial and tax reporting,
reflecting the impact of tax planning strategies Efficiently and
effectively aid in the preparation of the design, capture,
execution, documentation and communication of tax planning to the
accounting, compliance, controllership and treasury teams Build
quantitative analysis to support decisions taken Maintain, track
and schedule corporate legal entity structure for leadership,
advisors and service providers Success Factors Efficiently ensure
tax provision, income tax return and sales/use tax return input
data reported into tax software Proactively identify areas of
opportunity for efficiency and accuracy of current processes
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage tax schedules, workpaper
preparation, and communication to multiple locations/countries and
across functional teams Attention to detail with strong
organizational and time management skills Be able to communicate
with peers and superiors, while being a collaborator and open to
the ideas of others Must have high intelligence, motivation and
ability to prioritize on a real-time basis Qualifications Hands-on
and detail-oriented but also see the big picture; Able to work well
in a cross-functional, matrixed, decentralized organization, and
customer focused; A professional who can deliver results and must
have strong interpersonal communications skills; A team player who
is well versed in the details but capable of bridging knowledge
gaps to team members at various levels of experience and in
multiple jurisdictions; A quick study who can rapidly adapt to our
culture and gain the confidence of the leadership team; High energy
and able to handle conflict; Be an independent worker, capable of
operating in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment; Able to
drive and implement change; Be creative, culturally aware and
possess a passion to excel Graduate or undergraduate degree in
Accounting or Finance, JD or Master of Taxation from an accredited
University; CPA highly desired but not required Minimum of 2 years
of tax experience at public accounting firm, law firm, or U.S.
multinational company Experience with a multinational organization
