At The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters, we're
seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our Regional Accounting
Center. With a recent software upgrade, this role offers the
perfect opportunity to bring fresh ideas, help shape new processes
and be a key contributor to our long-term success.
What You'll Do:
You'll perform full-charge accounting for multiple locations,
supporting our ministry operations. Duties include:
Day-to-day accounting functions, including revenues, payables, and
ledger management
Monthly closings, bank reconciliations, and analysis reporting
Review and manage budget variances, restricted assets, and grant
coordination
Work closely with Corps Officers and supervisors to ensure
financial transparency and compliance
Help maintain accuracy, efficiency, and integrity in all accounting
processes
What You Bring to the Team:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (or equivalent
experience)
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Strong computer proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting
software
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal
supervision
A collaborative spirit, sound judgment, and a commitment to
confidentiality
Must pass an accounting skills test
