The -Associate Collections Representative -is responsible for
insurance premium collections. Positions in this function contact
customers to determine reason for payment delinquency, negotiate
and advise on collection of overdue bills and take appropriate
action to recover overdue payments. Handling of unresolved
inquiries/issues, and responsible for developing, implementing,
maintaining and managing organization policies on collection
practices. May work with outside legal counsel and/or outside
agencies in more complex collection cases.
This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required
to work our normal business hours of 7:00am - 3:30pm CST. It may be
necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or
weekends. Our office is located at 1145 CORPORATE LAKE DRIVE ST.
LOUIS, MO 63132.
We offer 4 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will
be 7am to 3:30pm CST, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted
- Sorting/Processing Mail
- Preparation for self-pay posting - electronic and manual
- Utilize US banking and insurance portals
- Using multiple systems, a day at the same time
- Word, Outlook, Microsoft tools, EPIC system
- Retrieve bank deposit details from system daily and work with
the Cash Reconciliation and Payment Posting departments to
collaborate and distribute assignments daily. Supporting 3 regions
(St. Louis, Southern Illinois, Jefferson City).

- High school diploma / GED (or higher)
- Basic Proficiency with Windows PC applications and MS
- 6+ months exposure to the acquiring and/or managing of data to
support a project
- 1+ years of collection revenue cycle experience
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Reside in Missouri or Illinois - Must be within commutable
distance to office - 1145 CORPORATE LAKE DRIVE ST. LOUIS
- Ability to work 5 days onsite per week
- Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are
required to work our normal business hours of 7:00am - 3:30pm CST.
It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional
overtime or weekends. -
- Background in a medical/healthcare setting
- Direct healthcare data collection experience
- EPIC experience or EPIC revenue cycle experience
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Insurance EOB knowledge
