Responsible for building, improving and maintaining processes, databases and models used to assess business line profitability, activity costs, and make decisions on various business opportunities. This position is also responsible for performing financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics. This position would work closely with leadership and peers in various departments in the organization.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monthly Reporting - Monthly and periodic preparation and distribution of routine and ad hoc financial reports/analyses.Model Development - Develop modeling that allows for efficient and periodic review of business line operations and profitability.Variance Analysis - Monthly preparation, research and reporting on budget to actual variances and forecasts where significant deviations are identified and explained. Communicate to Accounting and functional areas where budget or forecast updates should occur based on cost driver information. Develop rolling forecasts for the remainder of the fiscal year including revenues, expenses, headcounts and cash flows.Cost Analysis - Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and recommending policies and procedures.Budget - Coordinate with all levels of management to support the annual budgeting process and prepare the annual budget package for all business units. Assist with the development of budget assumptions.Financial Metrics - Monitor the key financial metrics of the Company.Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting with 3+ years of Finance experience. Demonstrated strength in operational and financial analysis using manual and computerized methods. Knowledge of systems and practices commonly utilized in the occupation of a financial services organization. Strong analytical and data gathering skills.Self-driven and committed to achieving goals and is results oriented.Strives for remarkable and applies discipline to thought and action.Ability to demonstrate initiative, leadership, critical and strategic thinking, and time management skillsDevelop positive and productive internal business relationships.
